Scout Sunday

Welcome to the

Church of the Advent!

Eastertide is a wonderfully joyous season, and we hope that you will join us in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

During Eastertide we have a couple of great community and churchwide events.  On April 22nd, we partnered with the the First Baptist Church of Medfield and the Cub Scouts in a community wide cleanup day and celebration.

On Saturday, May 13th we hosted our annual Mothers' Day Flower Sale.

On May 18 we partnered with St. John's Church Westwood and Emmanuel Church West Roxbury to prepare and serve dinner to middle school students at the wonderful Epiphany School in Dorchester, a school which serves economically disadvantaged youth in Boston neighborhoods.

The Advent is a loving and faithful community that seeks to follow Jesus in our often chaotic modern world.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm, joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.

Further down the page you will find some important events in the life of the church.

Blessings,

Marc Eames, Rector
