Christmas at the Advent!

On Christmas Eve we will celebrate the birth of Jesus.  The 4:00 pm Family Service contains wonderful carols, a trumpeter, a children's sermon, and communion.

The 8:30 pm service is a more formal Holy Eucharist and it concludes with a candlelight vigil.

The 10:00 am Christmas Day service is a quiet, said Eucharist.  It is a perfect way to start your Christmas day.

Sunday, we will continue our Christmas joy with Christmas Lessons and Carols at 9:30am.  We will sing many of the favorites we did not get to hear on Christmas day.

The Epiphany Pageant will take place on January 5th at 9:30 am.  We will have a short rehearsal on Janurary 4th at 9:00am.

Welcome to the

Church of the Advent!

Our Doors are Always Open.

The Advent is a loving and faithful community that  seeks to follow Jesus in our often chaotic modern  world.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of  holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm,  joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.

Further down the page you will find some important events in the life of the church.
