Scout Sunday

Welcome to the

Church of the Advent!

Eastertide is a wonderfully joyous season, and we hope that you will join us in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

During Eastertide we have a couple of great community and churchwide events.  On April 22nd, we partner with the the First Baptist Church of Medfield and the Cub Scouts in a community wide cleanup day and celebration.  It begins at 9:00 at the Gazebo outside the library.  We will break up into groups on different projects throughout our community.  If you would like to bring a rake and water bottle it helps the cause.  We finish our day at 12:00 with a meal provided by Cutlets.  From 12 to 3 we will have bounce houses and other games.  I hope you are able to join us.

On Saturday, May 13th we will host our annual Mothers' Day Flower Sale.  From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm we will have a great variety of plants and flowers to make your mother smile and to make your garden gorgeous.

The Advent is a loving and faithful community that seeks to follow Jesus in our often chaotic modern world.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm, joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.

Further down the page you will find some important events in the life of the church.
